Comparison

Write It vs Undetectable AI

One of these is a dedicated humanizer with a big promise in its name. The other rewrites AI-flavored text inside your doc and is careful about what it claims.

This comparison needs a caveat before the feature table, because the two products make different promises and the difference in what is being promised is more important than any row in a grid.

What we will and will not claim

AI detectors are probabilistic classifiers. They change, they disagree with each other, and they produce false positives on writing by real humans — non-native English speakers get flagged at higher rates, which is a documented and unresolved problem with the whole category.

Because of that, Write It does not promise a detector score. What the humanizer does is concrete and describable: it rewrites the specific phrasing patterns that make text read as machine-generated — the uniform sentence rhythm, the stock transitions, the vocabulary that hedges everything — while keeping your argument and your evidence intact. It makes writing read better to a person. Any effect on a classifier is a side effect, not a guarantee.

Where the work happens

The structural difference is the same one that shows up in most of these comparisons. Undetectable AI is a web app: you paste text in, you get text out, you paste it back. Write It runs inside Google Docs, so you select a passage and the rewrite is applied in place with formatting preserved.

For one paragraph that is a small convenience. Across a paper you are rewriting section by section, it is the difference between one workflow and forty round trips.

Seeing the problem instead of being told it is solved

Write It includes an AI Detector that scores your own draft. The point is not reassurance — it is information. It shows you which passages still read as machine-written so you can rewrite those specifically, in your own voice, rather than running the whole document through a rewriter and hoping.

Which one should you use?

Pick Write It when

  • You want the rewrite applied to your document instead of pasting text into a website and pasting it back.
  • You need the rest of the assignment handled too — drafting, sources, citations, typing.
  • You would rather have a tool that tells you what still reads as AI than one that tells you it solved the problem.

Pick Undetectable AI when

  • Humanizing is the only thing you want and you would rather have a tool that does one job.
  • You specifically want scores from several third-party detectors side by side in one place.

Bottom line: If humanizing pasted text is the entire job, a dedicated tool is a reasonable choice. Write It handles that inside the document and surrounds it with the rest of the work. The thing we will not do is promise you a detector outcome — see below for why that matters.

Frequently asked questions

Will Write It make my text undetectable?
We do not make that claim. Detectors are probabilistic and they change. The humanizer rewrites phrasing that reads as machine-written so the text reads naturally to a person; the AI Detector shows you what still reads as AI so you can decide what to do about it.
Why do AI detectors flag writing that a human wrote?
Detectors work on statistical patterns like sentence-length uniformity and word predictability. Writing that is plain, formulaic, or produced by a non-native English speaker can look like those patterns, which is why false positives are a known and unresolved problem across the category.
Will this get past an AI detector?
No tool can promise a particular detector score, and we do not make that promise. The humanizer rewrites AI-flavored phrasing so it reads naturally to a person; the AI Detector shows you what still reads as machine-written so you can decide what to do about it.
How much does Write It cost?
Write It is free to start with 5,000 tokens at signup. Plus is $10 a month or $96 a year and includes 100,000 tokens a month. Premium is $15 a month or $144 a year and includes 200,000 tokens a month. Unused tokens roll over on both paid plans.
Does Write It work outside Google Docs?
Write It runs in Google Docs with the full toolkit, in Microsoft Word on the web, and in Google Slides with a lighter feature set.
