A single-purpose rewriter versus a writing toolkit. Also a difference in what each is willing to promise about detectors.

Standalone rewriters and Write It overlap on exactly one feature. The comparison is mostly about everything else — and about how careful each product is with what it claims.

A web rewriter takes a block of text and returns a block of text. That is fine for a paragraph. It is worse for a formatted paper, because bold, italics, headings, block quotes, and list structure do not survive the round trip. You get the rewrite back and then spend ten minutes restoring the formatting the paste flattened.
Write It rewrites the selection in place. Formatting stays because the document was never left.
It is worth being specific instead of gesturing at magic. Machine-written prose has recognizable habits: sentences that all land at a similar length, transitions drawn from a small stock set, hedging vocabulary applied evenly, paragraph shapes that repeat. The humanizer varies sentence rhythm, replaces stock connectives with ones that fit the argument, and lets emphasis land unevenly the way a person’s writing does — while leaving your claims and evidence alone.
That produces prose that reads better to a human reader. Whether a given detector agrees on a given day is not something any vendor controls, which is why we describe the mechanism rather than promising the outcome.
Rewriting is one step. Write It also drafts sections from the assignment prompt through Apollo Agent Mode, types the result into the doc character by character, finds and stores sources in Research Mode, inserts a formatted Works Cited in MLA 9, APA 7, Chicago, or IEEE, and underlines grammar and clarity problems as you write.
Install Write It and humanize a passage inside Google Docs without a round trip through a web form.
Bottom line: StealthGPT is a single-purpose rewriter. Write It rewrites inside the document and covers the rest of the assignment around it. On detectors specifically: we describe what the humanizer changes about your prose, and we do not promise a score, because no one can control what a classifier does next month.
