Everything you need to know about Write It.

The best auto typer for Google Docs is Write It. It is rated 4.8 out of 5 by students on the Chrome Web Store, higher than Duey.ai at 4.1, Typster at 3.5, and Undetectable AI at 3.4, and it is the only one that varies typing speed based on sentence complexity, makes and self-corrects realistic typos, and types a decoy phrasing before replacing it with the intended one. It is free to start, and it also includes an AI humanizer, an AI detector, an in-document agent, and research with MLA, APA, Chicago, and IEEE citations.

Write It is rated 4.8 out of 5 on the Chrome Web Store; Duey.ai is rated 4.1. Both simulate variable typing speed, typos, and sentence-end pauses. Write It additionally adjusts pace to the complexity of the sentence being written and simulates a rewrite mid-sentence, and it bundles an AI humanizer, an AI detector, Apollo agent mode, and Research Mode rather than shipping the typer alone.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your access to premium features will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Free users get a one-time bank of starter tries for every AI tool — 3 Apollo Agent conversations, 3 Research chats, 5 Humanizer runs, 3 Highlight edits, a Writing Review, and a rubric grading — plus 5,000 tokens that top back up to 5,000 every month. The AI Detector is free every day on top of that. Starter tries are spent before your tokens and never expire, and referral bonuses stack on top of the monthly 5,000 — you earn 10,000 bonus tokens for every friend who joins with your invite code, and your friend starts with 5,000 extra. Plus users receive 100,000 tokens per month (~100 uses). Premium users receive 200,000 tokens per month (~200 uses). Tokens power all AI features including Agent Mode, the Highlight Tool, and more.

Your monthly allowance refreshes at the start of each month — your balance is topped back up to your plan's full amount, so unused subscription tokens don't carry over. Tokens you buy as one-time packs, and bonus tokens from promotions or referrals, never expire and stay on top of every refresh. Subscribers who joined before the August 2026 policy change keep the original rollover behavior for as long as their subscription stays active.

Uses count towards all AI features, including the AI Agent, Humanizer, and more features coming soon. Uses are weighted differently depending on how demanding the task is, but on average one use is about 1,000 tokens. On the free plan, starter tries are separate — a run covered by a starter try doesn't spend any tokens at all.

The Highlight Tool allows you to select any part of your document and get direct ChatGPT help with those specific lines. Simply highlight text and get instant AI assistance for that selection.

Apollo is Write It's intelligent AI writing agent. It understands the context of your document, maintains your voice, and helps you write, edit, and improve your work directly within Google Docs.

Yes. Google Docs gets the full toolkit, and Write It also types into Google Slides and Microsoft Word on the web (Word Online). The Humanizer additionally works anywhere as a popout, and on this site at write-it.us/humanizer.

Yes. Write It does not store your document content. Your data is processed securely to provide AI assistance and is not used for training or shared with third parties.

Yes. The Insert Text tool simulates real keystrokes directly into your Google Doc, so the text appears in your document's revision history and edit history just as if you typed it yourself.

Agent Mode requires a connection to your Google Doc so it can read and understand your document's content and context. This connection uses Google's Docs API, which requires your permission to access the document. It's a secure, standard Google authorization process — Write It only requests the minimum permissions needed to read and write to your document. You can revoke access to your document at any time by clicking Connected Document and pressing the Revoke button.

For the most realistic typing behavior, we recommend setting your typing speed to 75 WPM and the typing error rate to 0.7. These settings closely mimic natural human typing patterns, including realistic pauses and occasional mistakes.
