How payouts work
You earn in US dollars and get paid to your own bank, in 119 countries. Here is every fee and every wait in between.

Connect your bank
Pick the country your bank account is in, then Stripe asks for your name, date of birth and bank details. Your details go to Stripe, never to us, and Stripe may ask for an ID document before it will pay you.

Cash out at $20.00
Your earnings sit in the dashboard until you press Cash out, which needs $20.00. We then send the whole balance to your Stripe account in US dollars.

Stripe pays your bank
Stripe converts to your local currency if it isn't dollars, then deposits it. Nothing is held back on our side.

So a $20.00 cash out arrives as $20.00 in the US, and as about $19.80 worth of your currency everywhere else. Whatever you owe in tax on what you earn is yours to handle.
How long it takes
A US bank account usually has the money 1 to 3 business days after you cash out. Anywhere else it is usually about a week, because the transfer clears, then Stripe's payout schedule runs, then your bank posts it. If Stripe is still waiting on something from you, payouts wait with it, so finish anything it asks for in the Stripe dashboard.
Your country is locked in
Stripe fixes the country when it creates your payout account and never lets it move, so pick the country your bank account is actually in. If you set it up and then move countries, tell us and we will sort it out by hand. Before you finish setup you can still change it yourself on the Payments tab.
Where we can pay, and in what
Stripe decides this list, not us, and a few countries it serves are missing because they can't take payout-only accounts. If yours isn't here, tell us and we'll look into it.
